I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of Despatch No. 168 of 28th February last, and to inform Your Lordship that, in consequence of Mr Molley Campbell, (lately Acting Attorney General), having drawn a Bill in favour of a third person for the amount of passage money to him by this Government, as detailed in my Despatch No 118 of 27th December 1849, I did not feel myself justified in authorising the Treasurer to dishonour it.
I was allowed the sum of $115 received by him in the Regina v. Larkins and ordered by Your Lordship to be deducted, out of the said...
